From Steve, Collette & Melissa on 23/11/2005

We have so many good memories of Ian, it’s difficult to know where to start. The evening out to the Russian Restaurant where the vodka bill ended up higher than the food, trips to a Garlic restaurant ending with me and him tied together by our shoe laces and breathing Garlic beer fumes over each other, endless meals at each others houses nearly always ending up with Kay carrying him home – too many to mention. We trained for Triathlons together for years, each of us pushing the other harder and harder and having many, many laughs along the way – both of us nearly drowning with cramp, each of us falling off our bikes to roars of laughter from the other. There were many holidays, many trips to France, many weeks at centre parcs and more recently Antigua where he was the best man (between us we forgot about the ring and Collette had to bring it which gave us a good giggle). We will miss our best friend very much cherish all the memories he gave us. x
